The DisplayPort 2.0 IP Core implements the full VESA DisplayPort 2.0 specification with Ultra High Bit Rate (UHBR) link rates up to UHBR20 (20 Gbps/lane × 4 lanes = 80 Gbps aggregate). This enables uncompressed 16K@60fps single-display configurations, or triple 4K@144fps displays via Multi-Stream Transport (MST) with Display Stream Compression.

The IP includes LTTPR (Link Training Tunable PHY Repeater) support for cable redriver integration, Panel Replay for power-efficient display updates, and USB4 tunneling for combined DP+USB delivery over USB-C. Backward compatible with DP 1.4a (HBR3), ensuring interoperability with existing display infrastructure.
