The MIPI CSI-2/DSI IP core delivers a complete, silicon-proven camera and display interface solution implementing the MIPI CSI-2 v3.0 and DSI-2 specifications over D-PHY v2.5 and C-PHY v2.0 physical layers. The IP supports up to 4 data lanes at 4.5 Gbps per lane for CSI-2, enabling aggregate throughputs up to 18 Gbps — sufficient for multi-sensor 8K RAW camera configurations.
For display applications, the DSI transmitter supports up to 4K panels with video burst and command mode operation. The ISO 26262 ASIL-B safety package makes this IP ideal for automotive ADAS camera systems and rear-view mirror replacement applications. Available as synthesizable RTL for custom ASIC or as pre-validated FPGA IP for rapid prototyping.
