The HDMI 2.1 IP Core implements the full HDMI 2.1 specification with Ultra High Speed capability delivering up to 48 Gbps of uncompressed video bandwidth. Supporting 8K@60fps and 4K@120fps resolutions with 10-bit and 12-bit color, it enables next-generation display experiences for consumer electronics, professional AV, and gaming.

Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Quick Media Switching (QMS) features reduce display lag for gaming applications. Display Stream Compression (DSC 1.2) enables even higher resolutions over the same cable. The enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) supports immersive audio formats including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. HDCP 2.3 provides robust content protection for UHD streaming.
