Proven 40 Gbps Ethernet MAC/PCS with IEEE 802.3ba, 4×10G XLAUI, XGMII interface, and full QoS — the workhorse of enterprise datacenter and carrier-grade networking deployments.
The 40G Ethernet IP core is a battle-tested MAC/PCS implementation widely deployed in enterprise datacenter switches, carrier networking equipment, and FPGA-based NICs. IEEE 802.3ba compliant with four 10G XLAUI NRZ lanes aggregated to 40 Gbps full-duplex, it supports both QSFP+ optical and DAC connections.
The IP is fully FPGA-validated across Xilinx UltraScale+, Altera Stratix 10, Microchip PolarFire, and Lattice CertusPro families, and available as synthesizable RTL for ASIC at any technology node from 180 nm to 5 nm.
